Salut!
From the sleepy village of Napier, not too far from Cape Town, I greet you this lovely Sunday. Lovely, even if the wind is a bit bothersome. But then again, it's almost ALWAYS windy here. Napier is, as the crow flies, 40km from Cape Agulhas where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. This wind tells old stories of wrecked ships, long-forgotten travelers of the oceans and how they met their fate. And yes, we are all familiar with the term THE CAPE OF STORMS.
The pine trees in my front yard are swaying softly in this breeze: I feel at peace with friend and foe, I feel relaxed and I know it is that time of the afternoon to kick back with a beer, check that I have firelighters and charcoal handy. It's BRAAI TIME (BBQ TIME) again.......:)
Cheers!
